JEE Main Cutoff & Result 2017 Paper 1, 2 to Release on 27th April @ www.jeemain.nic.in: The CBSE’s Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) unit is expected to release the results of the JEE Main Paper 1 on its official website(jeemain.nic.in) this week. The JEE Main cutoff 2017 will let the applicants know which institutes will be open for admission as per their secured ranks. It is to be noted that the cutoff varies as per the category of the candidate. Therefore, the applicant will have to secure the qualifying scores as per their selected category. Admissions into the various participating NITs, IIITs and GFTIs will be done based on the set cutoff ranks of JEE Main.
According to the source for the exam, JEE Main Paper 1 score and rank and the list of top 2,20,000 candidates eligible for JEE Advanced will be declared by 27th April. The score shall contain the grades obtained in Paper 1 with the rank of those who be eligible for appearing in JEE Advanced, provided they fulfill other eligibility conditions. The rank shall comprise All India Rank and All India category rank. It is also equal to the number of seats available for admission to all IITs.
